The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on www.juliabartsch.com. By ordering from this website you agree to all terms and conditions. Please make sure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions before you place an order. Julia Bartsch reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time.
2. PRODUCT INFORMATION
All Julia Bartsch jewellery is handcrafted by the designer in her Paris- based atelier. Due to the artisanal manufacturing process, minor differences in shape may occur between the items as seen in the e-shop and the items made to order for the customer.
3. PRICES
All prices at this site are stated in Euros. Prices are subject to change by the seller without prior notice. The prices shown on the website at the time of the order apply. Julia Bartsch reserves the right to change its prices at any time.
4. MADE -TO-ORDER MANUFACTURING
Julia Bartsch jewellery is made-to-order. No stock is hold. Every piece of jewellery is handmade-to-order for each customer individually once the order has been placed and processed. Depending on the product, the manufacturing process takes between 3-10 business days. Delays in delivery may occur and are subject to the number of ongoing orders.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Julia Bartsch products are described and presented with as much accuracy as possible. Nonetheless, Julia Bartsch cannot be held liable if these descriptions contain errors or omissions. Product photographs are not contractual.
6. ORDERS
Orders can only be placed by persons aged 18 years and older. All terms and conditions as stated on this website are to be accepted when placing an order. Once the order has been placed and the financial transaction is fully completed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Orders placed on a French public holiday or during the weekend will be processed on the following business day.If you haven’t received you order confirmation within 3 working days after placing the order, please contact info@juliabartsch.com. Orders can only be processed if the delivery address is a residential address or a business address. After submitting your order, as soon as the receipt is shown on your screen, you are bound by the contract of purchase. If you experience any problems or made a mistake while placing your order, please send an email to info@juliabartsch.com. Your order has been confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from Julia Bartsch.
7. PAYMENT AND PAYMENT METHODS
The total amount comprising the product and delivery cost must be paid when placing the order. Accepted method of payment: credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express). Credit card payments are powered by Stripe. Julia Bartsch reserves the right to suspend the processing or delivery of any order if a credit card payment is declined by the officially accredited organisations or in the event of a non- payment. In particular, Julia Bartsch reserves the right to refuse to to process an order placed by a customer who has not partially or fully paid for a previous order or with whom a dispute concerning payment is ongoing.
8. SHIPPING
As there is no jewellery kept in stock there is no immediate shipping. All jewellery pieces are made-to-order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your purchased item to be crafted, dispatched and delivered. The e-shop is shipping worldwide. Domestic orders are shipped by La Poste and international orders by La poste/ Colissimo. Customers from non-EU countries are responsible for any import customs, duties and taxes. Returned packages due to unpaid customs fees will be automatically refunded. In these cases, a 10% restocking fee applies to the customer.Julia Bartsch is not responsible for knowing the customs policies of countries other than France. If you have any questions in regards to the customs regulations in your specific country, please contact your local customs office.Any packages returned to Julia Bartsch due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address will be redispatched at the customers’s expense. Julia Bartsch cannot be held responsible for delays or lost packages caused by any of the shipping operators. Julia Bartsch reserves the right to gather orders to the same delivery address to be dispatched in one shipment in order to minimize the use of packaging.
9. DELIVERY TIMES AND CHARGES
Your order will be delivered within 2-3 weeks days after purchase. Please find information about delivery fees and times below. Note that the given times are estimated times. Julia Bartsch is not responsible of any delays caused by La Poste or other Carriers. All shipments come with a tracking number. Signature upon delivery is required. Julia Bartsch is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages after being marked as delivered.
France: 10€ - 1-3 business days
EU: 15€ - 3-8 business days
non-EU: 30-35 € - 8-15 business days
PICK- UP PARIS:
To reduce environmental impact due to local shipments as much as possible Julia Bartsch offers the possibility to pick-up your order from her Paris-bases atelier in the 18th Arrondissement (75018). Please contact info@juliabartsch.com to schedule a pick-up time.
10. RETURN POLICY
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order. Please note that a 10% restocking fee applies on all returns. The restocking fee will not apply for misdelivered or damaged items. Plating discolorations due to usage as well as signs of wear and tear are not considered damage and are thus not eligible for a refund. Returned items must be sent back unused in their original packaging. Used, worn-out, or broken items will not be accepted for return. All returns must be sent back with a tracking number, charged to the customer. Prior to your return, make sure to contact info@juliabartsch.com stating “return + Order #” in the subject line for detailed information on the return process. Julia Bartsch reserves the right to refuse refunds if jewellery items are not returned according to the directions given above. Refund will be granted after the returned items have been checked. This may take up to 3-4 days. Exchanges are not accepted.
11. REFUND
To prevent fraud, refunds can only be processed to the same credit card used for placing the order. Refunds can be retained until the refunded items have been received and processed. Customs and VAT for orders sent to destinations outside of the EU are not refunded. Note that customs and VAT are also not refunded for orders returned from outside the European Union in cases due to the customer not being at home to receive the delivery or a delivery refusal by the customer. All sales taxes will be refunded to customers within the European Union. If a customer refuses delivery, Julia Bartsch will not cover for return shipping fee. The shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.
